3rd February is Lunar, Bhutanese New Year, it's a biggest occasion in a year to begin where everyone celebrate with joy, happiness, laughter, you name it. I was also very happy and looking forward to make it memorable, I was infact very happy that Bhutanese New Year falls on Thursday which is my good day.
1st hour I went and did all my prayers and offerings at my monastery and came back and planned to play archery in the afternoon but I was unfortunate because...........
I spent hours on bed in Emergency Room of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Refferal Hospital, with ECG plugs put on, Heart Rate Clip tucked on my finger, given more and more dose of pain killers to subside the pain I m going through, enormous pain below my left hand and above my waist.
Finally the lady Doctor told Tenzing Tshomo that my HEART and inner organs are fine, since next day is Friday and it's again Govt Holiday but on Saturday I need to do Ultrasound.
I was feeling okay one hour and unbearable pain following hour, but the pain killer drugs really worked hard to live.
On Saturday I went to Lungtenphu Army Hospital because I have my good friend Mr. Tobgay working as Senior Lab Technician help me get my Ultra Sound done by renown Dr. Chagay which is a great honor because he is well and senior doctor. Doctor told me there is nothing wrong he could find inside my stomach after the ultrasound so he told me to do Urine test and bring him the report. After getting the urine test the Dr. told me there is nothing wrong so I need to undergo 5days anti biotics.
Today was a better day with less pain and less fever because last night I made the whole bed wet as if I had a bath because my fever was so bad and it sweated.
That's my memorable 2011 New Year Celebration!!!

Bhutanese New Year 2011
Tomorrow 3rd Feb 2011 is Bhutanese New Year or LOSAR, it's a special day for all Bhutanese.
I wish everyone a very Happy & Prosperous, may all your dreams come true and a successful year to remember and cherish.
I consider myself very lucky and I m very happy because it's Thursday and it's my day.
I truly hope and pray that my luck changes from midnight and I have a better if not best days, months and year ahead because 2010 was not at all a favoring one.
Once again HAPPY LOSAR.
